BIO: CHRISTY ORTIZ

Christy OrtizChristy was born and raised in small town Merritt BC. She had a wonderful childhood spending most of her summers and free time camping, playing sports, and hanging at Nicola lake. After graduating she went on a Rotary Youth Exchange where she spent a year living in Arequipa, Peru. Little did she know that during this year abroad she would meet her future husband and father of her three children.

The young couple moved out to Calgary in 2001 to establish their lives and careers, and quickly had their first child. A few years later Christy went back to school to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in International Relations. Literally a week after writing her very last final exam, their second child was born.

In 2009 the family decided to move back to Arequipa to expose the children to the Spanish language and Peruvian culture. Christy taught English and was also a Speaking Examiner for the University of Cambridge. After doing that for 5 years she gave birth to her third child.

The family decided to sell everything off, again, and move back to Calgary in 2016; as their oldest was getting closer to graduating and they wanted their kids to finish high school in Canada. This was when Christy met CIP Document Solutions, and here we are a year and a half later!

Christy has had many different jobs in her life time, most of them with an administrative and customer service background. She has enjoyed working at CIP for the past year and a half. She is excited about toner alerts becoming more automated through the new FM software that will soon be on a PC near you. She likes to have fun at work; she keeps the staff fed at snack time and loves to bake cookies when our guests come for appointments.

Most importantly though, Christy knows that outstanding customer service is a key ingredient to the success of CIP Document Solutions and our customers so she is proud to provide top-shelf customer service to our customers.
