Yes it’s true. Now that Konica Minolta has acquired the document and imaging division of Pitney Bowes, you’ll need to make sure you have a Sharp authorized service partner to service your Sharp printers.
Konica Minolta will not have access to genuine Sharp parts or toner; Konica Minolta technicians will not have access to Sharp service and support; and finally, since Konica Minolta is not a Sharp authorized service provider their technicians are not equipped to provide the level of excellence or expertise required to service Sharp printers.
Only technicians from Sharp authorized servicing partners are in a position to provide the required technical expertise, as well as Sharp parts and supplies. Ultimately, Sharp authorized service partners optimize the performance of your Sharp technology and maximize the lifespan of your device.
