As most of our clients know, we (CIP Document Solutions) have been kicking around selling Calgary printers since 1981. That’s an incredible run for what is at the heart of it all, a quiet little Calgary printers company. During that time we learned that in order for our business to be successful, we must not only service our clients better than anyone else (shameless plug), but we must also service our community. And our community is YYC.

To this end, we are continually looking for great causes to get behind and promote, and yes, by promoting these causes we in turn are helping ourselves. We’ve learned that about business and we love it!
Sometimes this means finding amazing partners to align with like our recent partnership with PaperCut Print Management Software, or it could mean doing things like ensuring our business is as green as possible, but more often than not it means supporting our true community leaders – our true community organizations and events.
We’ve found one such organization and they call themselves Woman 2 Warrior (@W2WCalgary).
Who Is Woman 2 Warrior?
Woman 2 Warrior is a women’s only charity obstacle adventure race benefiting Easter Seals Alberta and the Children’s Hospital Aid Society.
This event is a non-timed run covering roughly 5.0 km of pure adventure. The course features obstacles to test your strength, agility, balance, and sense of adventure, but it’s also designed with fun in mind so you or your team can go at your own pace.
Sign up on your own or add extra fun by bringing a team, the key item here though is that this is a charity run so we only ask two things. One, every person has a blast during the race; and two, each person raises a minimum of $300.00 (this is a must).
Apart from all the fun you’ll have running the race (because we all know how much fun running is right), there will be awards and prizes for the top overall fundraisers and costumes. Oh ya, did I forget to mention costumes? Yes, dress up in the wackiest costume you can think of (and that means you and you’re entire team), then get busy recruiting the support of friends, family and co-workers to help you reach your fundraising goal.
Fun right? Dang right it is!
Listen ladies, we know there is a warrior in the heart of each of you. She is strong, determined, and powerful! Challenge yourself, challenge others, and register for the 2015 Woman 2 Warrior Calgary race today, ad brace yourself for the fun tomorrow.
